This was a awesome ship for our family to travel on to New Zealand. The first day was exploring and was great fun. Embarkation took around 45 mins and once we were on the staff were great and helpful - although it would have been good if we were given the passenger departure cards before checkin rather than in the middle before immigration. We had traditional dining at 5.30 and were seated with ...
My husband and I are in our mid 60's and have been on over 25 cruises so we would consider ourselves experienced cruisers. We were really looking forward to getting away for the busy Christmas period and not have to worry about anything. Checking in was a breeze- we caught a train from Engadine to Circular Quay and simply walked with our luggage to the ship. We arrived about 11am and were able to ...
I book my whole family on this 11 night Cruise for Christmas. I picked a large ship as I have two grandsons ages 11 and 13 and I wanted a ship with activities that young men would enjoy.
I am a cruiser who has travelled on over 30 ships over the past 30 odd years ranging from this 11 night cruise to a 79 night cruise.
All my previous cruises have been on small ships (the largest being ...
As a 16 year old I can say with assurity that this cruise was among the most boring 11 days of my entire life. In terms of activities and passtimes, the overwhelming majority were either closed, empty, vacant of people, or falsely advertised and non-existant. If you want your sons or daughters to have a good time over the holidays, dont book a cruise with royal carribean.

Hi,
We just got back from this cruise. We have been on Voyager before (May 2015) so were used to it. I must say that the quality of entertainment was awesome unlike the May cruise. Cruise director was awesome and very motivated. Production shows were beyond expectation. The husband - wife team of singing impressionists was just below average especially the wife was pathetic. His show was an ...
We had read the mixed reviews before booking our cruise so we promised ourselves to keep an open mind and our expectations to a minimum. We are delighted to say that we enjoyed every day we were on board including the couple of days when the weather was not so good.
Getting on the ship was a breeze we were in our cabin within an hour of arriving at the overseas terminal. We booked the My ...
This is our 2nd Christmas cruise, 1st was on Radiance 3 years ago. I (40's) travelled with my husband (40's) and our daughter 7. We had an interconnecting cabin with my parents, both in their 70's.
We had Grand Suites on deck 10. Both families appreciated having a bigger bathroom as well as the extra's that came with a suite such as not having to line up for tickets to the ice skating show and ...
For the past few years we have done a Christmas cruise. This was the worst. We have sailed with Royal before, on the very first Rhapsody cruise when Royal came to Australia for the first time during the GFC. It was great, older ship but the food, service etc was great. This time we were on the Voyager of The Seas to New Zealand. I hate this ship. With no central atrium it has no heart. The ...
The Windjammer meals were always full and rarely a spare seat. By the time you got a seat your meal was no longer hot. The stay in Auckland was ridiculously short. Music was ordinary and the late night bar which had rock music was overcrowded and no seats unless you got there early. The don't save seats for friends in the ice rink shows was totally abused and no one did anything about it. The ...
Having been on Voyager a few times now I am still just as impressed as ever. I know everyone has different expectations but I still find the very negative reviews baffling. The food was very good both in the restaurant and the Windjammer. Of course there were some meals I didn't like, but there was enough variety that I always had plenty of choice. The service everywhere was outstanding and all ...
