This was my third time on the Summit in 2 years. I like the Summit's small size.
Cabin: When I cruise, I only require a window. This time we booked "Guarantee Balcony" about 3 weeks prior to sailing. there were 4 of us requesting 2 cabins. We are Celebrity fans and booked two back to back cruises. The itineraries were ideal for this purpose and visited some very nice places.

We chose this cruise because we loved the itinerary and like Celebrity the best. The Summit had a recent makeover and everything was clean and fresh. We went to five different ports and six if you count Puerto Rico. We sailed to Barbados, Antigua, St Thomas, St Maarten and St Lucia. This is our 4th cruise, second on celebrity. I could not have been happier with the Alaskan Cruise on the Solstice (Aqua class). I figured Celebrity would be my cruise line of choice. I did not book Aqua this time and boy do I regret it.

Size of Summit is great, but it is deteriorating. Captain Kate is great, visible and genuinely friendly. Some staff were not so happy.
