Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Celebrity Suite

We were originally booked on a cruise to Alaska, but the weather in New York had been so cold we decided a warmer weather itinerary would be better. We had taken the other leg of this cruise in 2015 so chose to do this one. Also by changing our cruise, we were able to upgrade to a Celebrity suite.

We arrived in San Juan the day before sail date and stayed at the Condado Plaza Hilton which I had booked through Celebrity and included transportation to the port. Embarkation went smoothly and we were on board within 20 minutes of arrival at the port. We were escorted to Michael's Pub to wait for the cabins to be ready. Our concierge, Manuela, advised us lunch was available at Luminae, so we went to eat. Manuela is great and as we learned as the week progressed had arranged some wonderful things for us to do including a visit to the bridge to meet Captain Kate.

Our butler was Nelson who was very accommodating, although I must admit this time I didn't need as much done as I have in the past.

Cabin Review

Celebrity Suite

Cabin CS

Our cabin was spacious and we were very happy we had upgraded. The only complaint I have is we were on deck 9, the Overview restaurant is directly above and sometimes it was noisy, but never late at night. In addition, we were rarely in our cabin because this cruise is port intensive and we were on excursions every day.
