Is a family vacation really a vacation? Aboard the Carnival Pride it actually is! My husband and I have been on several Carnival cruises prior to this vacation and I don't recall ever having any issues. To me, vacation is what you make it and I feel that if I am blessed enough to not be at work - life is good!
On this vacation was my husband and I along with our two sons, ages 10 & 12, and ...
Embarkation was pretty easy. We had a balcony room, was spacious enough and kept very clean by steward. We had a room that had an adjoining door to another cabin....could hear every single word they were saying easily. Was like having a curtain, not a door.
Staff was all very pleasant on board. Shows were pretty good, comedians were hilarious. The comedy club gets full about a half hour before ...
We went out onFebuary 15th for 7 day cruise the ship was nice and we had a Vista suite and the balcony was really nice. We hadn't been on Carnival in about 10 years and we thought that the shows and the food are lacking alittle from past cruises but the Pride and her staff is great. ...
1st time to book with Carnival, was really looking forward to this cruise and every aspect of it was terrible from the dirty rooms, the cold food, line ups, terrible service and uniformed staff.
The ship was called the "PRIDE", let me assure you there was no pride in this ship at all, from the dirty stained carpets, to the filthy windows you could not even see out of on the Lido Deck and the ...
Booked this cruise as a last minute, really need to get away trip. We've been on the Pride over 10 years ago so knew what to expect. We were mostly looking for a relaxing trip and got that.
Yes, she has seen some wear but nothing that was alarming or vacation ruining. Others that we met had complaints about their cabins ranging from noise to broken TV's. The only small issue in ours were the lamp ...
This was my third time cruising on a Carnival Fantasy class ship and I must say that this one is showing its age in different ways than the others. Although we did have the flat screen tv (shoved inside the giant box where the old one was), the room was kind of rough. We are not very picky when it comes to our room needs because the majority of our time is spent out and about, but this room was ...
I am generally not one to write reviews but I read so many negative reviews about the Pride, specifically the crew that I felt compelled to post this.
I have been on 13 cruises and must say that the crew of the Pride is absolutely the friendliest of them all (all were Carnival cruises). Always smiling, greeting you as you pass by and just all around friendly.
The food was typical, not great and ...
Older and smaller ship, but spacious staterooms. Service was not as good as on other ships. When we went to lunch after boarding, there were so many dirty tables in the buffet area that stayed there the whole time we were eating. They also didn't come around as much for drinks while out on deck. Some common areas up on deck were not as clean as they could have been. The Serenity area is on the ...
Scheduled a somewhat last minute cruise (about 5 weeks). Chose this cruise based on rates, ports, and knew the ship was recently refurbished.
Flew into Tampa a day ahead and stayed at the Hampton Inn, Ybor City. $25 flat rate cab from airport. Would highly recommend for pre-cruise. Free shuttle to terminal.
Arrived at the Cruise Terminal about 1:30. We were in our cabin by about 2:15.
First ...
We returned yesterday from a great 7 day cruise aboard the Carnival Pride. Everything about the trip from the seemless embarkation process in Tampa on February 22 to the lightning quick disembarkation process March 1 was perfect. We followed their standard itinerary with one sea day followed by a day at Costa Maya, Mexico, the following day in Belize City, Belize, then Roatan, Honduras, then Grand ...
