Carnival Port Canaveral (Orlando) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

- Great room...we loved our balcony - Great service...out room steward was incredibly sweet, attentive, hard-working and clever Our dinner waitstaff were wonderful...Renato and Erdie were incredibly competent, funny, and blessed with incredible memories when it came to our personal tastes - Mediocre entertainment (especially the Piano Bar, the so-called comedians, and the Music ...

We were quite excited to go on the Carnival Sunshine with the new waterworks slides, ropes course and new decor as well as the itinerary, The reasons we chose this cruise did not let us down. We were thrilled with the muted colors, as well as slides and the ports. The staff was amazing even though they were always going full steam. No question Carnival is trying to do more with fewer people. ...

Carnival Sunshine - mostly good!

I chose this cruise because I liked the itinerary and the port. We stayed at Country Inn and Suites in Cape Canaveral and love that hotel. (I reviewed it separately). I had heard good and bad about the Sunshine but we decided to give it a try. We have been on several cruises on the larger ships and loved it. Overall, it was great. The crew and entertainment staff was top notch. The Lido was ...

Cold food, bad customer service, smelly cabins

I have sailed with Carnival 3 times and Norwegian Cruise lines 1 time. Carnival was the first cruise line I had ever used and I was partial to Carnival up until now. For this specific cruise, I chose Carnival for the ports of call (which were fantastic by the way). First of all, when I made the reservations for 8 people (4 couples in separate cabins) they told me that the Sunshine had been ...

My new favorite Carnival ship!

First time on the Sunshine and I loved it! Crew was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great itinerary, great weather, bumpy start (hour late on sail-away and rough seas first two days) but smooth sailing after that. Atmosphere was casual and fun. Even the passengers seemed friendlier to each other on this ship. Loved the setup for YTD - check in on deck 5 at Ocean Plaza, go down elevator ...

Missing Sunshine already!

Went with a vegan group and was super impressed with all the meals the Sunshine staff prepared for us and the way they helped out with suggestions or modifications at all the venues, we already miss the food though we are happy we aren't as stuffed as we felt all week. We also had good bar service and friendly faces all around. The public bathrooms are cramped and some parts of the ship are ...

Magic was more than magical - it was phenomenal!

The Carnival Magic was indeed a magical vacation. I can’t begin to fathom the negative reviews I have read about this magnificent ship. We have been on numerous cruises, and this was our favorite ship thus far. My husband (51), 16 year old daughter, her friend, and I (50) drove to Port Canaveral from Hoover, Alabama after school on Friday, March 24, 2017. We stopped after six hours of driving ...

TOO MANY PEOPLE

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

This was my first and probably last cruise. Far to many people on board, people cutting lines, hoarding entire rows of pool chairs, using dining room tables as card and game tables while families walk around plates in hand trying to find a place to eat. It was relaxing at times but also unbelievable at how rude some people could be. Several times I had to put my foot down to the rudeness. Spend a ...

First time cruising and we're hooked!

We just returned home from 8 days on the Sunshine and we couldn't be happier. This was our families very first cruise and we joined two other families for Spring Break. First and foremost, I want to say that reading some of these reviews had me very concerned that we would be disappointed. I am very happy to report the complete opposite. None of us were ready to leave when it was time to get off ...

Bahamas Again!

I chose this cruise for the specif dates available for a short cruise with a first timer. I have been on several cruises but it was my cousin's first. Overall, the cruise was good. We arrived at the port by shuttle. The embarkation process had changed since my last carnival cruise from this port. We checked in then sat in the waiting area until our boarding zone was called. We headed to the ...
