Carnival Los Angeles Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

We haven't gone on Carnival for 16 years as we were trying to get Elite on Princess Cruises. We generally get a mini-suite on Princess but decided to save a few bucks and try a balcony room. We paid for Faster to Fun Pass ($59.00) and it was well worth it. We got on right after the Suites and disembarked 8:05 am to hardly any lines at Customs. It was great! Our room was a pleasant ...

I had a great time! Stewardess was attentive and pleasant. Cruise director was full or energy and outgoing! This woman is a superwoman.. She attends online school for her graduate degree and runs the ship with high energy and enthusiasm. Comedy shows were hilarious..except for one guy. I actually felt embarrassed for him. lol..But entertainment was great! Party atmosphere and stuff for kids to do ...

This was our third Carnival Cruise. We were with our best friends and had cabins in the aft next to each other.I had ordered a bottle of champagne online so we could have a toast when we got to our cabins. The bottle was on the counter but not on ice.I asked our cabin person if we could get a ice bucket for our champagne. He said he didn't have any. The bottle sat on the counter the whole trip and ...

Nice ship for a Hawaii Journeys Cruise

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

Hawaii was the final state for us to visit. We signed up for this cruise on a previous Carnival cruise and got $250 on board credit, plus $250 for being a stockholder! The 4 sea days going to Hawaii did not seem as long as the 4 sea days coming back. This was a 15 day cruise, so we were starting to get "cruised out" and our last stop was Ensenada before returning to Long Beach. The Miracle is well ...

Great Ship

Just came back from the Mexican Riviera cruise on the Carnival Miracle. This was my first time on a Spirit class ship and I'll have to say it's now my favorite. This was a New Year's cruise leaving on December 31st. Embarkation was typical for Long Beach. It was a bit cold and slightly rainy which must have kept the crowds down. We got on the ship fast and made it to the Red Frog Pub first. ...

Third time on the Miracle, and next year is already planned!

We have gone from balcony to junior suite to ocean suite. This was probably the quietest cabin we've had- except for the young elephants running down the halls, and a kid next door who loved to sing loudly on the balcony. Our steward Asih was the best! Because of the timing, the winter holidays work very well for us, and the Mexican Riviera always has great weather. Very glad we got back to 3 ...

We have cruised numerous times over the past 20+ years on different cruises lines, NCL, Princess, Celebrity and One prior cruise on Carnival last year so I am comparing this cruise against all our cruising experiences. First the good, the embarkation process on the Miracle was quite quick no complaints there. Dining :The main dining room decor was nice and elegant and the food was generally good ...

Old ship, fun vacation

The ship is older than others i've traveled on, but it was clean. The cabin stewards are friendly and efficient. The entertainment was mixed- good shows;however the comedians weren't great. The band was excellent, but the solo performers were so-so(most could play well, but didn't sing well). Food was ok, also not as good as previous cruises. I like carnival because of the serenity areas; ...

Filthy, Boring and Underwhelming......

This was the absolute worst vacation of my life. I have taken several cruises in the past and this was by far the worst ever. Room was filthy - had to call housekeeping 3 times to get it clean and point to the filth and ask for it to be cleaned. I finally just cleaned it myself. The food at the buffet was horrible, under seasoned and tasted frozen. They state they have several restaurants on ...

We picked this cruise because my son wanted to try Carnival. He's 14. In the end even he preferred NCL. Our room had stained carpet and upholstery, the door to the frig was broken, many dings and broken elements to the suite. We had a vista suite. There was a lot of vibration. It was not a comfortable room to hang out. That was the point of a suite. Cabin service was good. Lounge service was ...
