We haven't gone on Carnival for 16 years as we were trying to get Elite on Princess Cruises. We generally get a mini-suite on Princess but decided to save a few bucks and try a balcony room. We paid for Faster to Fun Pass ($59.00) and it was well worth it. We got on right after the Suites and disembarked 8:05 am to hardly any lines at Customs. It was great!

Our room was a pleasant surprise also as it was quite large with a couch and large shower. It had one small t.v. and not much on the channels. The balcony was a fine size and bed linens were newer. Had a cocktail table and little bench that I used constantly. The shampoo and shower gel are on the wall but I brought my own anyway. The room steward was nice and asked what time daily to clean the room. The room cleanliness needs to be improved. Dust under the telephone, dirt on the mirror the entire time and carpet crack and up the wall was dirty. Bottom of shower curtain dirty. All in all not horrible but surprising after the standard of Princess Cruises.

The specialty dining of Nick and Nora's was great. Anytime dining was very good food presently nicely with nice employees but extra glasses were left on table and small details like that. Very pretty dining room.

Size and configuration was good. Plenty of storage.
