"Keep in mind that this is just my second cruise and I am not exactly a "cruise person." The idea of taking multiple cruises every year makes no sense to me at all. Anyway, we signed up for this "repositioning..."Read More

1-10 of 33 Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas Cruise Reviews for Senior Cruises to the Transatlantic from Miami
DH and I had a wonderful transatlantic -our first! Navigator of the Seas is a beautiful ship. Food choices were good, lots of entertainment and things to do, and lots of relaxing while enjoying a week at sea before hitting the first port. We had a promenade cabin which allowed us to watch the parade and disco dancing from the comfort of our cabin. The cruise was a good value, catering to a middle ...
If you are stopping in Lisbon on your cruise, do not select the tour by Tuk Tuk. We paid almost $100 apiece for what was supposed to be a 3 hour tour. We got barely 2 hours of touring and much of that time was spent sitting and waiting to move from one place to another. Total rip-off!
Overall, this transatlantic cruise is a good deal. The stops before reaching Southampton were great even ...
For a vacation to relax, we took our dance shoes with us, normally on RCCL, there is dance (ball room) music before dinner and after dinner and if you are lucky the bands can play later too ball room music.
On the Navigator of the Seas this time, pre recorded music, dancefloor was too small.
The big band can play jazz very well, but no ball room music, the waltz was too quick, rumba too ...
We did the Miami to Southampton trans Atlantic cruise april 2018. The navigator is from 2002 and there are signs of aging but this did not affect our experience. We had an internal cabin and was very small but had everything we needed. A bed, a bathroom and plenty of space to hang our clothes. The bathroom was not very clean because there was some molt on the wall where it was impossible to clean. ...
This was our three cruise ,second with RC .big change since our last cruise with RCThe ship was not totally full so we had more room to spead out.registration was very smooth but we were offered VIP registration but signs directing you to this service were not available.Activities:Movies were offered in an outdoor setting this was fine near coastal waters but when the ship is in the middle of the ...
This was a very crowded cruise and not much was done to make it feel less so. The spaces on the ship were not fully used. Even though it was in the 50's and windy the evening movies were still at the outside pool deck. Why not move them to the conference center area? While it was generally cold outside on the sea days the theater area could have been more fully used for entertainment. The speakers ...
Over all the transatlantic cruise was great fun. I do enjoy the "at sea days". I felt the crew was "at a loss" at what to do with this many people on board for so many days. I thought the "meet and mingle" event was a joke...why did they even bother? So many people....cheap door prize drawings, nothing special, why should we attend this?
Agree with several of the other comments...Royal ...
My only small complaints are that there weren't enough variety of games or cards in the game room. And, the special lobster meal for $29.95 was horrible. The free lobster night was 100% better. Loved the duplicate bridge in the afternoon. Was a bit too cold to lay out by the pool. The ports were nice - different than normal repositioning ports. I would have preferred more fun activities ...
Upon embarkation at check-in it was very slow .The Rep we had at check-in seemed totally bored with her job & was not helpful when we asked questions.
Once in our stateroom we had long delay waiting for luggage delivered.
The service on board, mainly in the Sapphire Restaurant was very inconsistent, we had My Time dining and each time we experienced either good or bad service. Even Guest ...
Birthday cruise turned out to be a big disappointment. A 14 night cruise started great but deteriorated throughout the journey. Small signs encountered along the way indicated something was wrong.
- many typos and wrong scheduling in the cruise compass created communication confusion for guests and staff
- ran out of chicken and turkey sausages on the first day - poor planning or tactic ...
