From start to finish this cruise disappointed on every level, having sailed with RCI out of Southamptn Venice and Barcelona the porters at the ports couldn't be more helpful but Miami all they are concerned with is their tip and if it isn't sufficient then watch out cases, we lost 1 and the people who we were travelling with used a different porter and the lost 2 all replaced by Royal Carribean but we were not the only people effected. The ques at customer service rep endless. Attire on formal night in the main dining room ranged f Shorts an gym tops to tux's and the people dressed less than casually looked down on those who had dressed smartly, what happened to Royal's dining rules? having booked my time dining well in advance of this cruise every night it was a problem to find us a table and on more than one night the waiting staff in the restaurant gave the impression you were an inconvenience and service was slow, one night 4 rounds of bread were offered before the starters arrived! Booked to see the musical Grease but turned up to find anyone had been let in and no seats again we were not the only ones and after complaining again another showing was added to the schedule. We stopped at St Marten and Puerto Rico and enjoyed just getting off the ship.and wandering around, St Narten was all hard sell by the numerous Jewelry shops but Puerto Rico was the real find, especially trying a Piina Colada in the bar it originated from. The final stop was Labedee Royal's own part of Labedee where there are many things to do from snorkelling to zip wire to train roller coaster ride, all very busy and expensive and need to be booked pre cruise. However the sun beds a were free unless you want a cabana and these need to be booked on embarkation. lunch was transported from the ship and I have to say RCI do I'd an excellent job, food was plentiful and hot. Th cabin was spacious and well looked after and Jennifer in the schooner bar was a delight and epitomised the attention to detail and professionalism normally seen by RCI staff. Will probably be stuck in,g to med cruises from now on! Read Less

Pros: The Ship is amazing. There are 3 water slides and two dry slides, two flowriders, golf, ice skating, two rock climbing walls, zip line, merry go round, saltwater, chlorine, and sports pools, a bunch of hot tubs, lots of chairs. There's a bionic bar, floating bar, wine bar, and a bunch of other scattered bars. The shows were great. There are two ice shows, two high dive shows, two variety shows, a comedy show, and others I didn't go to. Wonderland bar is a hidden gem, with fun drinks and bartenders. Wristbands were great for the kids. You need to take them off to get drinks at the pools. Interactive Signage is everywhere, but same limitations as the App (below). Cons: Dinners mediocre at best. Even so in upscale (i.e. Pay more) dining. The Mexican restaurant was good (at a price). It was extremely difficult to kind chicken nuggets on a buffet anywhere... Comedy was OK. Grease is not really kid friendly. Skating only on one or two days for 30 mins. I wish they would open it up longer. They say 7 neighborhoods but there are really only 4 that are really good... they count the pool and the kids camp I think... Staff just seemed unprepared for the guests maybe. It was Thanksgiving week... Internet went down on day 4 for hours or so and when it came back up, they didn't know how to help us get back on. Luckily a fellow cruiser showed us the trick. The App is OK. Shows stuff you registered for and everything available... but not times for anything (like when you can surf or watch a movie, or climb a wall. Need to keep that stupid paper guide handy at all times. You can reserve dinners (but don't know what price you're going to pay) and you can't see what breakfast or lunch options are available.
