Chose this cruise due to the reputation of Royal Caribbean and such a loyal fan of past cruises with them. Entertainment is usually top notch along with their food and friendly staff. I must say I was disappointed in both the quality of food in preparation. I've always enjoyed the food in the past. The quality greatly lacked past RCCL experiences. The entertainment was also a disappointment. The crew night was entertaining but lacked the pageanttry i've experienced in the past. My salvation was the crew who never lets me down. My housekeeper, Joseph, was outstanding!!! He made the entire trip for me along with my waiters Lenson and Ralph. These two waiters were incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and professional! Hats off to them all!!! They always made you feel special, and always had a big smile to make you feel so welcomed. I must say that these 3 crew members made my experience quite memorable! Read Less

A friend and I took our High School Seniors on this cruise for their Spring Break. We spent the afternoon before the cruise in Miami and South Beach. South Beach was a great atmosphere with live music and many venues to dine and shop. We could see the port and our ship from our hotel window! The boarding process was quick and easy. There was excitement from the time we boarded the ship. Entertainment and all the games and shows kept us busy and having a good time. Our excursions were so much fun. Key West was our favorite. Our girls did the kayaking excursion on Coco Cay and had a blast! Us parents relaxed on the beach while they were gone. There was not much shade around the island but I was able to rent an umbrella for the day for the beach. We all had a wonderful time. The girls especially enjoyed our servers, Dmytro and Sharon, at dinner. Read Less

Spring break with my 15 year old son, flew down from NJ. Got to port at 11:30 and was on the ship at 11:45, every easy Embarkation. Food was OK, menu seemed smaller on te short cruise at the dining room but never waited for My Time Dining and none of our dinners were longer than 1 hours and 15 mins. The entertainment staff was solid, did not see the Cruise Director much but here asst was excellent. The production shows were pretty awful and music was aimed at an over 60 audience. Comedian was good , his adult only show was very good. Pool area a tad crowded but manageable and very cool to have a ledge to sit on in the pool. Bartenders were solid and quick but drinks were lacking something by the pool, not sure what but not up to normal par. Debarkation was awful, took an hour for self assist. Atlantis through the cruise was much cheaper than doing it on our own for the 1st time in years Key West was a nice fun day Overall a solid cruise, weather was perfect, Coco Cay was the best! Our cruise was wonderful! It was both relaxing and fun! This is our first time with Royal Caribbean, we have cruised with Celebrity and Disney and we enjoyed RC greatly. Our dinning room experience was great! The food was delicious and Jessie and Gabriel, our servers were awesome! Sweetest guys ever! We enjoyed Coco Cay and our excursion which was snorkeling was amazing. Our guide fed the fish so that we could get a close and personal view. Overall the ship was very clean, even though it was an older ship it was maintained well. The staff were just excellent! There was so much to do even if you didn't get off the ship. It was just my husband and I cruising but we did meet many families enjoying themselves. We felt that it was a nice mix of all ages of people. The kids were not unruly and the adults all seemed happy. We were impressed with the organization of the immigration check and disemarking which flowed easily even though it seemed overwhelming when we first enered the line. The only issue was when we tried to disembark at Key West it lacked an organization and flow. It was a confusing line with stairwells and elevators emptying out at the same place and at the same time. The trip was a wonderful chance to get away from the cold and snow! We enjoyed it so much, we booked again on the ship! We can't wait! Read Less

Our first night, my teenage son got stomach pain. It progressed to severe pain. We went to the ship Dr and they told us that it was most likely his appendix. They sent us back to our room and told us to be ready to get off the ship when it came into port in the morning. Upon arriving in Nassau Bahamas, there was an ambulance there waiting. He was taken to Doctor's Hospital. After an outpatient surgery that took 30 minutes, the surgeon released him within 4 to 5 hours later. My son had a release/ fit to travel letter via "land sea and air". The ship's doctor would not allow us to get back on the ship that night leaving us stranded in Nassau, with no luggage. We were not refunded for our cruise even though we had a fit to travel letter and a release from the doctor saying he was okay to go. Not only were we stranded in a foreign country with no luggage but we were not able to take our vacation. The rest of my family was able to sail on but my son and I were stranded for 2 days before going home. Read Less

The stateroom attendant was helpful, friendly and he was real creative making animals with the wash rags and towels. The dining servers were wonderful they make sure you're happy the whole time you're eating. You have plenty to do from morning to night. We also love the shore excursions. We enjoyed shopping and eating delicious food and the drinks were delicious as well. The shows were really nice. We enjoyed the belly flop contest. The food on the ship was delicious too. We enjoyed bingo, zuma, dancing, karaoke, swimming, casino and much more. The ship was clean and on excellent condition. The ship also have great price on all sorts of items. The entire crew make sure you the best time ever while you're on and off the ship. We will definitely sail again with Royal Caribbean Enchantment Of The Seas! Read Less

This is a great cruise to take for a quick weekend getaway. We went for my daoughters High School Senior Spring Break. Although the ship is older, it is clean and the crew is very courteous and helpful. We were always being asked if we needed somthing. Although the ship was fully booked, we always found a place to sit whether it was at Windjammer's, watching a show, or finding a lounge chair. This was the fisrt time we did the earlier dinner in the main Dining room, and the food was tasty, but could have been a little hotter. I suspect that given more time to prepare the food for the ealier dinner vs. the later dinner could have been what was going on. THe beef tenderloin was extremely good. Windjammer's cafateria had a better selection then some of larger ships I have been on. This is the first time I was in an interior cabin. It was to be as expected, but it was clean and the cabin attendent was very good, although we didn't see him as much as other RCI cruises. Michelle, the cruise director was very good and I liked that they filmed some of the activities, so you could watch them later on in the evening or next day. My daughter was not too interested in the teen program. She did check it out, but she's 17 and was not too interested. Other ships seem to have a better teen program. Coco Cay was really nice and peaceful. Nassau as a port was okay. There are not a lot of excursions out of Nassau as compared to other ports. We did the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter while in Nassau, which was greatGiven a choice of going back to Nassau, I probobly will stay on the ship. All in all, it was a very nice cruise. Read Less

The service we received on this vessel was excellent, the ship was clean, the staff was courteous and efficient. Housekeeping also provided impeccable service. Entertainment was to all nationalities and we felt we were well represented. Onboard movies, Music, trip to their private Island, the beach, water activities, shopping, photos, shopping etc etc was beyond our wildest dreams. The trip to Nassau Bahamas was entertaining and educating, the island people are among the friendliest in the world, from our bus driver who took us around the island to the craft market and to the beaches.. We are already planning our annual cruise with this vessel. We would like to use this opportunity to send out a special thanks and acknowledgement to our waitstaff Noel and his assistant who went above and beyond to ensure the experience our party of six received was beyond expectations. We chose this cruise for a bachelorette party, we were glad to not have to worry about logistics. Overall it was a good experience for the price we paid. Pros: -The chefs table dining experience was incredible and I highly recommend it. - the staff was friendly and accommodating - The cabanas at coco cay are 100% worth it - The piano bar is incredible. - The on site activities director was extremely fun and engaging Cons: -The ship was built in the 90s and is in desperate need of a reno. -The ship smelled strongly of sewage on the 2nd and 3rd decks. -there was a lot of waiting in line, kids running around, and crowds. -drinks are expensive and watered down and service is slow. - we were at coco cay during low tide and it turned the beach into a marsh which is not conducive to swimming. - Almost missed my return flight that i booked with the air to sea package. I was ready and got in line to to get off the boat at 7 to make my 1030 flight. We didn't get off the boat until 745, and I waited for my shuttle until 9:00!! I hadn't grabbed a water or coffee or breakfast because I didn't want to miss my shuttle or flight, when I asked about when it would arrive they would respond with "it's on its way, you should be fine." Had I known it was so late I would have gotten breakfast on the ship and gotten a cab to the airport instead. I was extremely annoyed. I arrived at my gate 15 minutes before my flight which was extremely stressful. Overall, if you're not picky about your accommodations and are looking for a getaway where you don't need to plan anything this is a good value for the money. Read Less

A "cold front" made it rocky and windy so CocoCay was cancelled. The tenders could not safely handle the roll or the tide. I've sailed on 4 different lines, multiple times and this was the only time that some sort of concession was made under these circumstances. There was a short apology citing "our safety" and that was it. My point is, if CocoCay is not accessible this time of year or any time 95%+ of the times, then it should not be listed as a port. Essentially false advertisement. The staff was friendly, and there have been areas updated when they stretched the ship. Other places ( cabin ) is showing wear and tear. I was in Suite 8672, aft. Food on buffet was real basic, and late night grill was also limited. Dinner in My Fair Lady was decent, but portions may be small after a full day in the water. Sound system on deck by the pool was like standing 3rd row at a bad rock concert. They were entirely too loud, and quality was poor. Announcement were almost inaudible due to volume/speaker placement/ accent of captain. Read Less

A few friends and I decided to leave the men at home and take a girl’s trip to the Caribbean. Overall, our experience was very good. Octavian and Dante were our dining room attendants, and they could not have been any better. We decided to book two shore excursions in Nassau. The first was the Glass Bottom Boat tour. Our tour guide was Chevron (Chevy). He was absolutely fabulous!! Our second excursion (sunset cruise) was canceled due to high winds. We were disappointed that we missed it, but glad that safety comes first. We decided to take a taxi to Atlantis. This is my second time to Nassau. I will always suggest taking a taxi somewhere. The taxi drivers are always full of information and very entertaining. Our day at Coco Cay was canceled due to high winds. The next day we were in Key West. The Hop on and Off Conch Train was the excursion that we signed up for here. If it could have been done over, we would have saved our money. The name is deceptive. If you want an informative tour, this is great. We were wanting to hear some information about each stop, hop off, explore, and hop back on. This is not how it is. So, we stopped at the first hop off and got an Uber to be able to see and explore what we wanted. We loved Key West. The main thing that we did not like was the disorganization of the disembarkation. We had an early afternoon flight, so, we chose to do the self assist disembarkation. We were in line to get off the ship by 7:00am. It took a while for the ship to be cleared, and I understand that it was not Royal Caribbean’s fault. The main objection I have is that we had been standing in line for almost two hours, and they let people with shore excursions off before the people that had been waiting in line for so long. Also, there was no clear instructions on how to get off the ship. The lines were intermingled. It was very hard to distinguish which line to follow. I have been on other cruise lines that were MUCH more organized. Read Less

Cruise started out okay but went down hill from there. 1st stop was in Nassau Bahamas which was good. Next day was to be in Cococay Bahamas woke up to recording advising we would not be going to Cococay water to choppy to disembark from ship, stayed at see all day didn't get to Key west any earlier and was given a extra hour at Key West Florida. Problem was during our extra day at sea there weren't many activities for kids, (sons 9 and 17) and too windy and cold to enjoy the pool. Didn't receive any credit for not visiting Cococay. Over priced drinks were water down and I don't drink and had 3 drinks didn't get a buzz and my husband said we were drinking flavored juice or water. Arrived late at dock waited 1st in line for over a hour past disembarking time to get off ship. Worse cruise ever, 2nd cruise with Royal Caribbean won't be returning. Read Less

We chose this cruise for the destinations (Bahamas) but the impression of this ship was not good, not as clean and not as friendly stuff like the other Royal Caribbean cruise (Freedom of the Seas) we did 2 weeks before. Due to our previous experience with Royal Caribbean we were expecting luxury, respect from stuff member and professionalism, which unfortunately for short cruises this was not the case. The ship was old, you could see rust all over, and widows were not clean. There were some efforts for restoring the ship (they were painting before we embark) but i thing the cleanliness could have shadowed this. Cabin size was very nice, comfortable and had very good services. Dining and generally food was excellent. Since it was a 3 day cruise, entertainment was mostly designed for spring breakers and adult teenagers who just wanted to get drunk and party - stuff were part of that. Shore excursions were pricey, not always good value of money, however, there are some shore excursions worthy of every price, since stuff were super professional and got the chance to see more than expected. However, RC is still one of our top selections and definitely worthy of being one of the best Read Less

We wanted a fun ship, but not a party ship, if you know what I mean :) We boarded pretty early, around 11am. We walked right on, no waiting at all! What we didn't like was the bombardment of people trying to up sell us for dinner and drink packages. We paid to be here, we don't want to be sold things now thank you! Room was ready at 1:30pm. So we hung out and explored the ship while we waited. Had lunch at the Park Cafe. Good for a quick bite, but not a huge selection. The cruise was really good overall! The entertainment was varied and good. The first nights comedian left something to be desired, but other than that, really fun! We missed out on Coco Cay due to weather, bummer. Food was pretty good as well. Service in the dining rooms was great! I was most impressed with our cabin. I will write more below in the cabin review. Getting off the ship was a bit crazy, but not terrible. We had a super fun girl's weekend!! Read Less

We decided to cruise about 2 months before this sailing date. We had a blast! This is a older ship, but it has been updated. I really liked towel animals on our bed each evening. We weren't much on the dining room, we found pretty much the same items on the buffet each night so we did that instead of eating at a specific time. Formal night was much better than a previous cruise line we had been with. We liked all of the different photographers set up, this gave us a variety of backgrounds to choose from. We booked another cruise while we were on this cruise. We are going longer next time. We are hooked on Royal Caribbean. The excursions were a little sketchy. We went Seahorse Snorkeling and felt as though we had been scammed. They advertised something about snorkeling and watching seahorses. We saw the tropical fish, but we had seen those before. We only booked to admire seahorses in their habitat. We asked the guide where those were and he admitted he had no idea. While we were on the excursion a man in a small boat pulled along side the sailboat and sold sea shells. That was fun, not overpriced. Fun to hear the ocean in the shell. The excursion to the brewery was also sketchy. We only saw one brewery and the taste testing wasn't that impressive. The third excursion we booked was to paddle board. It was cancelled due to high winds. We toured alone in Key West and had more fun on the Navy beach than we would've paddle boarding. Not sure we will pre-book excursions again. Read Less

I would definitely travel royal Caribbean again. I traveled with my family and everyone had something to do from the casino, to the rock wall, to lounging by te pool. The dining experience was excellent and our waiter and servers were very friendly and easy to talk to. I loved the display of the different countries and cultures that were included in the crew and it showed how well everyone can work together despite being from different places and living in confined corners. The activities at Cococay were amazing, my sister nd I went kayaking and it was a great experience and a memory we will have forever, the other events they had set up were also very fun nd enjoyable. I chose this cruise because I was already in Miami for work and found a good deal online. Royal has always had a history of being a good cruise line and it lived up to the hype. The food, facility, service and activities were all amazing and I will be back. Getting the drink package ahead of time, I thought I would be drinking all the cheap stuff, but they actually had great quality booze. We rented a day bed in cococay which was also relaxing. They had their own private server as well as these floating mats that came w the day bed. It is definitely recommended if you plan on relaxing. I noticed they had a lot of other activities for families and spring breakers but we didnt participate in those. We only got off in Nassau for about 30 min and walked around. Though alot of ppl did excurisions these days. Again, I definitely recommend this cruise and can't wait to go on another Royal Carribean cruise. Read Less

Choose Royal Caribbean based on feedback that it's a better cruise line then Carnival. The crew onboard were very friendly and supportive throughout the whole trip. We stayed in balcony stateroom 7038. Nice location with no noise issues. Dining: We are vegetarian lactose-intolerant and had little food options. Main dining had everything covered in butter. The cruise line needs to accommodate for all types of people. If we were vegan, this cruise would be horrible. No options at all. FYI, if you are a couple make sure you request a 2-seater table. The cruise line put us and 2 other couples together at 1 table. Very uncomfortable and awkward. Poor judgement for the cruise line. Finally got moved after I complained. Lines: Everywhere we went there was always a long line. Between checking in for the cruise, to dining, and exiting the cruise ship. Things took forever. Ship was packed. Excursions: Private Beach Deluxe Island with Lunch - Terrible. Food was horrible and the Island was packed. Stay away from this excursion. Cococay - Bungalows were amazing. Worth every penny. Staff were great and tons to do on the island. Best day of the entire trip. Key West - Paddle boarding was great. Great tour guide from Lazy Dog. Would book this tour again as well. Miami - Hop on and Off Bus was excellent and transfer to Miami Airport was great. Read Less

We decided to take a cruise with our high school senior for Spring Break. He took 2 friends and they stayed in their own cabin. We have not cruised before so we read many reviews before we left. It was very helpful to read other reviews. Our flight landed around 10:30. We had booked the airfare with the cruise line so that we would be covered if there were any delays. We opted not to use their transfers and took our own car service instead. Black Lane is a favorite and worth every penny. Before we got in the car we stapled the paper luggage tags onto our bags so we would be ready when we got to port. We arrived at the port around 11:00. A porter took our checked bags and we kept our back packs. *Note: Put your wine in your carry on and not in the checked bags. It was busy but there were really no lines, maybe one or two people in front of us at any given point. The check in process was very smooth. We got on board and headed to Windjammers for lunch. You can't go to your staterooms until 1:30 (or whenever they make the announcement). *Note: They begin taking pictures during boarding. Take advantage of this. You won't have to buy them but at the end of the cruise it's fun to see them all and many times they are better than the ones you took. I wish we had done this every opportunity we had. When they announced we could go to our rooms we found our luggage on our deck and went to our room. Based on previous reviews I expected it to be a bit dated. But everything was clean and spacious and in working order. We were pleasantly surprised. We were in 7170, a Junior Suite with a balcony off the back of the ship. The balcony was larger than we expected with 2 lounge chairs and a table with two chairs. The views were fantastic and it was so peaceful at the back of the ship. We learned that we could find a busy nightlife anywhere on the ship and then come "home" to quiet comfort. We signed up for two excursions (and they weren't really excursions at all): the cabanas on CoCo Cay and the Behind the Scenes Tour of the ship. I would highly recommend both. Our favorite things: the comedian headliner, nice variety of food choices, staff was happy and friendly, well kept and clean ship, plenty of things to do, CoCo Cay (our favorite!), our room size, and our Cruise Director Michelle. On the down side: at times the food was barely warm, offers to buy things were fatiguing, only 2 outlets in entire cabin and none in the bathroom, bingo was $30 (or more!) per card, we were told wifi came with the suite - it does not. TIPS: -Bring a bottle or two of wine (you can carry your glass all over the ship). -Bring a multi-port USB charger or power strip. Just make sure it isn't a surge protector. -Bring a wrap or jacket, it gets chilly . -Bring small bills for tips or purchases along the way. -Make friends, it's fun to see people throughout your trip. -In the main dining room order what you want - 2 apps or 2 entrees or 2 desserts, whatever you want. -When you shop at the port, don't buy things at the first place you see. -Wear a patch or take dramamine, it's not fun being sick on the ship. -Bring tennis shoes. -Download the app. There are so many things to do, you will want to plan ahead. -Splurge a bit for a bigger room your first time. -Use the many Purell stations. Again, it's not fun to get sick on a ship. -Stay in contact with the cruise line after booking to see if price drops. -Make sure you know what is free and what there is a charge for. For example, Ben and Jerry's charges for ice cream but the desserts in the case there are no charge. -Bring some travel mugs to keep your drinks in. -Bring a little bandaid kit and plenty of sunscreen. -Don't miss the onboard shops. We found amazing bargains there. -Get to know the staff and service people. They are wonderful and can enhance the entire experience. -Dine in the main dining room on the last night. It's special. -Arrange a car service from the airport in advance. You want a smooth trip so start things off right. Read Less

We chose this cruise because we were with a group. This ship is a bit small and lacks things to do unless your agenda is to find a place to sit down and drink... with little else to do. They would benefit from some things to do while you drink. The food was pretty decent overall. In particular, the evening dining meal was excellent. The wait staff was SUPERB! They were very attentive and went the "extra mile" to make sure that things went well for us. As far as the ports of call, they were as good as Royal Cariibean could be expected to make them. The ports were clean and the signage was clear. Roy Car. was able to dock and leave on schedule (As far as I know). The only problem that we experienced was related to the "Spring Break" crowd. We're no prudes, but the spring break crowd made it difficult at times - particularly as it related to the swim suits (or lack of them) that were worn. Read Less

Booked this cruise because we were getting off another cruise that day (it was a Monday) and wanted to cruise to finish off the week cruising before having to fly home on the weekend. I didn't even think about it being Spring Break and a 5-day party cruise until after we had already booked. My Bad! The ship was FULL of 20-somethings doing what 20-somethings do on a cruise on spring break. Not the ships fault, my fault for not putting 2 and 2 together before booking. Luckily there were no at sea days, & we could get off the ship and do our own thing during the days. Embarkation was easy. Access to rooms was around 1pm. Hallways to the cabins were literally closed off by locked doors. There was a fun Calypso band playing on the pool deck while we waited to set sail. Ship: Overall Enchantment is worked! We had a Jr. Suite, room 8118. The room itself was extremely spacious with a full bathtub. The view in the room was what I would consider the space of 2 full sized sliding glass doors. There was a full vanity with TONS of storage. A full couch, and two chairs with 2 ottomans and a coffee table and still lots of room to move about. That was Excellent. The balcony chairs were standard, non-reclining. The balcony's are NOT private, with opaque glass that you could somewhat see through at night if your neighbors lights were on. The glass was also angled at the top corner so that if standing by you railing, you can easily see your neighbor standing on their balcony or look into their room. Also, if I wanted to leave my curtains open while we slept, our neighbor could easily look into our room and see our bed via the placement of large mirrors in the room. Poor design. Also, our particular balcony, being on the 8th floor, was located next to a 9th floor bump-out by the ping pong tables, so anyone standing at those 9th floor windows could easily look into our balcony. Drainage was also a daily issue on our balcony as the daily maintenance pressure washing water pooled up in the edge gutter on the floor. So a few days my shoes, I left on the balcony, got wet by that drainage water. I used bath towels to soak up the extra water each day. Since we were on the 8th floor, I could easily hear the staff pushing their carts on the 9th floor pool deck with each wheel hitting every bump in the decking. Poor location. Something to consider when choosing a room. Also, the cabinets in our room were worn, like REALLY worn, where the finishes were just wearing off. There was fading on the wall above the bed where a picture once hung and has not been replaced and there was a non-removable smudge on the vanity mirror about 2-3 inches long and wide as well. Almost like hot glue that dried and couldn't be removed and was smudged. Drainage in the tub was very, very slow so I stood in a few inches of water with every shower. But eventually it did drain. Food in the MDR felt & tasted mass produced, which, obviously it is, but since we'd just gotten off another line, we had a good, recent comparison. The other line, nothing felt or tasted mass produced even though we know it was. Enchantment felt like things were sitting under a heat lamp for some dinners. Although some dinners were very good I must give some credit. Buffet was so so at best. There was a Starbucks onboard, and with our non-alcohol drink package, we could get Starbucks included with that package. Our non-alcohol package also came with a refillable soda cup that we could use at a few self-serve soda machines around the ship. That was very nice not to have to wait in a bar line for soda. Mock-tails were also included with this package and were very yummy as well. Entertainment was really good. The cruise director & assistant director were excellent! Brought lots of energy to the shows. Could always find a seat in the theater, although I contribute that to most of the 20-somethings were not interested in the shows on this particular sailing and that was most of the population on this particular cruise. Every evening there was a fun game or activity happening in the atrium, and typically a very loud, and fun-sounding sail away dance party on the pool deck. We didn't attend this dance party but could easily hear it from our balcony. But since it didn't last long, the music was fun to listen to and didn't bother us at all. Staff was VERY good. Everyone was happy and in good spirits. They did a wonderful job for what they have to work with, which in my opinion, is a ship that is in desperate need of renovation EVERYWHERE. But it is what it is, this seems like a ship that is mainly used for short, party cruises and when things get trashed, they don't seem super eager to replace it, knowing it'll just get worked again and I really can't blame them for that. Disembarkation was odd & slow. Even though we carried our own luggage, there was a huge line that wrapped around 1/4 of the ship and took us about 1/2 hour to get off once we got in line. Again, just had got off another ship, with more passengers, with probably a 5 minute disembarkation. So, not sure why the delay. Overall, this ship is what it is, a short, party cruise ship. If that is what you are looking for, this is a fine choice. You will have a great time. If you are looking for a more adult experience with a bit more upscale amenities, this may not be the ship for you. But like mentioned before, my bad for this major oversight. Read Less

this was an extended family vacation. All adults. Ranging from 3 20 something’s to 60 something’s. I’ve cruised many times on a different line. This was my first RC. What we didn’t think about, when planning ,was we went this week so our college age kids could go ( spring break) but lots of other spring breakers would be there too. It didn’t bother us since we have family that age...but they really took over the pool area and bars. Thank goodness for the servers that came around to get our drinks. So I’d advise anyone with small children to avoid college spring break weeks.. I felt so bad for the people with small kids. Music was too loud , pool area was too crowded. Really skimpy bathing suits and bad language.and drunk college kids. RC staff did the best they could in controlling things, i was very impressed! I was prepared for lots of aging ship problems from reading comments.. but I found the ship to be clean, well kept up,and overall very nice. ( it’s not top of the line for sure, but it was a high B.grade from me) The cruise director was great,,! Shows were lots of fun...although the last night the show was cancelled due to computer problems. That was very disappointing. Don’t miss the 70’s night dance party,! It was fantastic! The dancers and singers put on such a fun time, Our inside cabin had tons of closet ,drawer and cubby space. The mirror setup was really helpful. Kids had room with window which I loved. Rooms were clean, quiet, no issues with plumbing. Although a constant odor seemed to be present. ( I have a sensitive nose). Bring a glade solid room deodorizer. and a nightlight if you have inside cabin. Our room steward was excellent. Food was good. Not great, except Chops,,did it first night and was so glad we did! Not crowded. Lots of attention.you won’t be sorry. So glad we did, well worth the extra $. All the dining areas were clean. All the common areas were spotless. Things I would do differently Take time to organize the cabin. I wasted so much time trying to find things. Take a little time to study layout of the ship before going. I could never get a Handle on where things were. we had all kinds of plans to do all the activities, we actually did none,! I don’t know where the time went.. Brought work out clothes. Only one in the group actually worked out Read Less

We were 9 people, four adults, and 5 kids (21, 18, 16, 15 and 13).The entire process was enjoyable, the crew members do their best to make you feel very nicely treated. The cabin was huge and very clean, the restaurants were awesome, the diner is very special, the wall climbing was a lot of fun, the private island (Coco Cay) spectacular. The cabin was big and accommodate up to 6 people and had a big window ad two baths. I recommend you to bring a bottle of wine (permitted by the cruise) to enjoy while cruising. Do the wall climbing, it is a lot of fun. Enjoy the arcade and do not miss any of the shows !This is my second cruise with Royal Caribbean and I have never cruised with a different cruise line but I recommend this cruise to anyone. It was totally worthy! Read Less

So to preface this review- I'm a single male 30 years old (almost 31!) are Loyal to Royal, and have been on half a dozen cruises. This was my first cruise on a smaller boat since 2007 or so with Radiance of the Seas. Port of Miami was a great port. We parked at the port and had no trouble boarding the ship and getting everything going through the "Diamond Plus/Diamond/Platinum" line. I just recently became a platinum member from my Nov 2017 8 night cruise on Freedom (btw 8 nights is too many with the eating and drinking haahaha). This was my shortest cruise at 4 nights. Upon entering Enchantment, I quickly proceeded to the bar to get a double gin and tonic- only to be told that the ship doesn't do doubles on the drink package and I'd have to do one at a time. Disappointing because on Freedom they encouraged doubles!! After getting my beverage, I sat down on one of the couches and saw that it had an enormous stain on running down the front that looks like it could've been wiped up easily with a cloth. This was not the first time that I looked at something that could've been cleaned and it wasn't. Enchantment was BY FAR the direst ship I've been on. And I don't really notice these things. Enchantment needs to be taken care of better than she is! Additionally, I knew we'd hit a spring break crowd- which we did. It wasn't too too bad. Actually, the Spring Break view was great. However, the pool music was much more geared towards the EDM and it grew very very old after a while. I would've liked to have a change of pace of music- the ragee steel drum band wasn't the change of pace I was looking for. Also, it was the first cruise I've been on that requires signatures on ALL receipts for the drink package. I was also inadvertently charged for a drink on my room that was covered on the package!!! I didn't find that out until I received the check out notification with a bill. SAD! The biggest perk that I was looking forward to was receiving robes with my new Platinum status. I did not receive these robes and was disappointed. SAD! Chops was good. Definitely great service! Just like I remembered on Freedom and Indy. Overall- I prefer the much bigger boats. More to do and the crew seems to care more about the ship. The crew seemed to be tired of the Spring Break crew and was very laggy on service. I can't blame them- but it wasn't the service that I remembered on my other cruises. I have scheduled another cruise April 2019 on Allure. So glad to already have that booked from the deal that we received on the ship. Loyal to Royal as always- they can always be a 10/10 experience! Read Less
