We just got back from a 12 day Star Princess cruise through the Greek Isles. We had a great time.
The embarkation procedure was very easy, once we arrived at the terminal. Getting from the Venice Train station to the port turned out to be a bit of a pain.
Word of Warning: I'm going to vent about the people we encountered in train stations in Italy. If you want to read the review, just skip the next few paragraphs...
Cabin Review

This obstructed view cabin had plenty of room and storage. The life boat outside the cabin kept us from looking down, but we could see out across the boat and see the ports and the sea as we were arriving/leaving.
