I would like to start out by saying that I have been on 11 sailings now with Celebrity and with the exception of one, it has been attained exclusively on the Century. Over the course of 9 years of course things change and people change, but on this past cruise so much has changed for the worse, I feel that I must share that information.
Before I go further, I would just like to say that the customer service aboard the ship, for the most part with a few exceptions, remains high.
Moving on, when we booked the cabin reservations told us that the cabin had a pull out sofa bed, on the deck layout it wasn't marked as such, so we asked them to check and they verified that it did indeed have a pullout sofa bed. Captains club reservations people also confirmed this. While we were on a previous cruise last month we asked the room steward to confirm this and he also confirmed this. What do you know we actually open the door to our cabin, no pull out sofa, just a regular sofa and a cot. So reservations and the guy who makes up the room (who I don't think even spoke English) were completely wrong. So upon complaining, Demitri (who I think is the assistant-hotel director), came and remedied the situation by pulling out a sofa from someone else room before they got there ans switched them. This really go to show their level of service.
The suits are very nice, and come with butler. Conceriage class I don't think is worth the extra money, same size room as a regular outside cabin, but get some hors d'oeuvres at dinner time.
