If you land at LAX as we did be prepared for a long wait through immigration.Finger prints and photos for all.
Primetime/Supershuttle buses are on exit.Don't worry if you had difficulty in trying to advance book as you just inform the driver and give him $32 for 2 people. They tour the airport once to fill up and then head to the port.Taxi for 2 people is $60.Ship check-in is efficient as it can be given 3,000 people arriving.Be aware that they will find and confiscate illegal items (travel irons/kettles etc)and return at cruise end.Your cabin may be ready but your luggage will take several hours.
This ship has been refitted in line with customer comments however, it appears very disjointed. Some areas have benefited and others lost out.You feel Sat Nav should be provided to each person.Dining and theatre areas accessed via one door culminating in cues. This particular cruise had a majority in favour of Brits with Americans and other nationalities bringing up the rear, encouragingly the dress code was upheld.
Our cabin was deck 5 forward P227.It was quiet as only a few other passengers went passed. It was a four person room, two singles with two fold down bunks so two people had quite a lot of room.Flat screen tv and fridge.
