Azura Review

Poor for those with dietary needs. Everything tired and run down with cost cutting everywhere.

Sail Date: May 2023

I have been on several cruises before with P and O, and Royal Caribbean.

Overall -

There were a few good aspects, but I would not sail on the Azura again. It felt like a cut-down, budget experience and totally lacked any imagination or flair. Apart from our evening waiter (who was brilliant), the staff seemed bored, overworked and did not put any effort into making the holiday a special experience. This may not be their fault as I suspect there were not enough of them. Ship was full and the overall feeling was hectic and disorganised, rather than a relaxing and luxurious holiday.

Cabin Review

I had a deluxe balcony cabin. It was a good size with a nice balcony and loungers with footrests and a coffee table. Overall, the decor and fittings were very tired and in need of replacement, with very dated brown decor and dingy black and white pictures. Bathroom had good storage. Good hot and powerful shower. Walk-in dressing area was good with plenty of hanging space, but there was the risk of someone hitting you with the bathroom door as it opened outwards into this area. Cabin was kept clean and tidy by the fantastic steward.
