We are long time Celebrity cruisers and this was by far the worst cruise we have ever been on, We had been on the Edge in 2019 and really dislike the "infinite balcony". So for this cruise we chose one of the few non-suite rooms with an actual veranda. Not a good choice. The veranda was tiny but it was outside. When the automated window washer went by it soaked the veranda furniture. Design flaw one. The room was had was all the way aft on the 6th deck. That turns out to be above the Eden venue. The result is that when a band is in Eden the volume and the bass is so loud that the bulkheads vibrate. There is not sleeping before midnight when the venue closes. Design flaw 2. The hall of mirrors that you have the pass through to get to Eden is very disorienting. There are objects that project from the bulkheads that you can run into. I had to hold my wife's hand to get through is as she was so disoriented. The similar space on Edge just has mirrored pillars in it. Design flaw 3. We talked to some fellow passengers who had rooms below the Magic Carpet and they said that there was so much creaking that it was impossible to sleep. Design flaw 4.

We do not care much for the 4 main dining room concept. The menu choices are more limited.

It was clear that much of the crew were new and inexperienced. Most had the usual Celebrity service mindset but a few were somewhat rude. We took one excursion in Puerto Plata which was billed as a small group tour. There were 5 busloads on the excursion. The excursion was obviously designed for an early morning departure. We didn't leave on the excursion until 11 AM and the provided lunch was served at 3:30 PM. Read more
