Was weary of going with P & O and I was right, firstly the awful smell of sewage on deck 7 all through one of the cabaret bars, not an officer in sight all the first week. Secondly the petty rules associated with the drinks package, you were allowed 15 drinks a day, but no doubles. At the bar I asked for 2 single gins ( using 2 of my 15 allowance ), but no, I could only have 1 and had to wait 15 minutes before ordering another, I asked the waiter for a gin after 10 minutes and was told off for not waiting long enough, I wouldnt mind but it was part of my allowance, I felt like a naughty school boy. On to costa coffee, right by cabin, I asked for a large latte and was told no, I could only have a regular on all inclusive, how petty is that ! The drinks packages with NCL and Marella are superb but not this shower.

On a positive, we thought the food in the MDR was very good, usually hot and fresh as was the buffet, most the theatre shows were of good quality but the main 4 piece band looked totally fed up and just singing because they had to.

We made written complaints re the sewage smell along with others, no response.
