Well this was our 4th P&O cruise. We were quite dubious, but it was as good as we expected, considering. The staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to help you. We sailed to the Norwegian Fjords. Embarkation was easy and quick. Our cabin was a standard balcony cabin and was very comfortable. Our steward was really helpful and so pleasant. We ate in the Olive Grove, Sindhu, and the Beach House. All of which was excellent, but especially Sindhu. The Quays would get very busy, but it was worth the wait for the fish and chips were delicious and the also did gluten free batter. They also have Fusion which has a small Asian menu and another one where you can get burgers, chips , southern fried chicken. The horizon buffet was great for breakfast and lunch. They also do late night snacks. You will never go hungry. We found the main dinning rooms a bit hit and miss. We waited over 1 hour and half for our mains one evening and when they arrived they were all cold. Don’t bother with the cheese and biscuits in the main dinning room. There isn’t enough to feed a mouse, and I’m not joking. Only one meal in the main dinning room was not good but all of the others were great. We found the P&O App easy to used and it worked well. The entertainment we found was excellent. The only thing was all of the bars seemed to close at 11 pm. I thought that was a bit early. The ship is enormous and still on the last day I was getting lost. The debarkation was not so good , it wasn’t organised. It was a mess. Norway is beautiful. Unfortunately we had two of our ports cancelled due to bad weather. But the ones we visited were amazing. I’m already looking for my next cruise.
