When friends who had already experienced a Quasar cruise to the Galapagos suggested it as a group trip, we were in immediately and we were never disappointed. Our group of 16 consisted mostly of long-time college friends (and some spouses). From airport pickup to drop-off, we were in great hands with our two guides and an extremely capable staff. The ship was spacious and comfortable, the guides beyond knowledgeable and enthusiastic and the activities well paced with enough time for relaxation and conversation. It was clear that the staff cared about their ship and their passengers. The food was good and plentiful and they accommodated any special requests. There was often a special treat either after a long hike or when we returned from snorkeling. It was the trip of a lifetime. And who would have thought they’d have a hot tub on the ship! (A nice touch when we felt chilled after snorkeling)
