I have just read a review by a passenger, Philip, on the same cruise as me. We visitied Rouen, Guernsey and the Scilly Isles. Although I agree with him that the eastern European staff were not the friendliest that is the only real negative in my opinion. If he wanted luxury then he should have paid a luxury price. I saw this cruise advertised on Travel Zoo for £299 per person and the third person travelled for £99. At that price - who wouldn't?? I spoke to loads of people who paid the same.

In the past I worked on P&O cruises for 4.5 yrs and decided to try cruising as a passenger. I travelled with my parents sharing an inboard 3 birth cabin. The cabin had ample room for us all - we didn't even use all the drawers! The beds were comfortable and the cabin was cleaned every day to a good standard.

We tended to have breakfast and lunch in the buffet restaurant - Marco Polo. There was always plenty of choice and the only food that was cold was the salad! OK it wasn't the more luxurious choice as you expect on a luxury cruise liner - but we were aware of the low price we had paid. In my opinion it was good value.

Cabin Review

Plenty of room even with three adults. Loads of storage. Inboard which suited us as not woken by early morning sunlight!!
