This itinerary was wonderful. It is summer in the north but bring warmer clothes and jacket plus be ready to have rain. Scenic viewing of icebergs from the ship was spectacular and was the best part of trip. leaving rotterdam we were enjoying the view from the rear of the ship for 2 hours. in bergum norway we rode the funicular. the waterfalls and scenery in iceland were beautiful. qaqortoq greenland was a walking port just to say you were in greenland. The navigational crew did an excellent job thru thick fog and icebergs. we enjoy fixed early dining as spouse has food allergy and having the same waiters is a plus. So far our table mates have been pleasant. They removed the self serve laundry room which was bad as this ship does longer itineraries and people would rather do thier own laundry than have it done. we really enjoyed this cruise.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean-View Stateroom

Having the window right above bed has always bothered me. sitting on the sofa propped up on pillows i was able to see out. No refrigerator was inconvenient. the room was roomy, plenty of storage, nice bathroom.

Port Reviews

Reykjavik

We spent 2 days at this port so first day we booked this 10 hour tour. It was crazy trying to find tour bus at port. We saw 2 big waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beach was great.

Akureyri

The waterfalls were beautiful but it was down pouring rain. the mineral baths were very nice and warm since we were already wet. Wish we had longer time to soak.

Isafjord

Just walked around town.

St. John's (Newfoundland)

Walked around town, very hilly.

Halifax

Walked the waterfront and in town to see cathedral, and monuments.
