Cabin:

Always wanted to do this trip. Slightly disappointed with the ship and cabin as used to cruise ships. Wasn't expecting that level of luxury obviously but still disappointed. Cabin spartan and very small. Ridiculous amount of space to get around the bottom of the bed. Not enough tea\milk etc. Got fed up with asking for more. Food lovely. If you don't like the dinner menu you can change it. Alcohol. Forget it unless you have no concept of the value of money! Excursions were a bonkers price. Only one we did was the RIB adventure in the Lofotens which was excellent. Don't be panicked in to booking trips before you travel. Trondheim Tromso and Svolvaer were lovely. Other ports very industrial and utilitarian but that's the nature of the ship. If you're doing one way and staying overnight be warned that Kirkenes is a dump! Best bit is clearly the scenery and seeing places hard to reach by road. We were lucky enough to see sea eagles and whales.
