We're just back from Wonders of the Fjords on Discovery 1 today and thought i'd review what I thought. We were first time cruisers travelling with a 7 year old so are able to view from all angles.
Cabin: We booked an inside cabin on decks 2/3 and were allocated 2091 towards the rear of the ship. We're not ones for lounging around during the day and tend to use these places as a base or as some would put it 'a sleep, a shower, a S___ and a shave'.We found it to be the perfect size for the 3 of us, 2 singles on the bottom and one bunk folded down. The cases fitted nicely in the wardrobe space so we nicely out the way. Drawer space was more than adequate as was hanging space. Beds were comfortable and 'view from the bridge' on the TV gave us the slightest light at night. The bathroom was simlar to those found in a static caravan which we're used to from previous holidays. Shower was more than powerful enough. can't fault it at all!!
7yo view: 'it had 3 beds and it was awesome, the shower was tickly'
Lovely inside cabin, very clean and tidy and plenty of storage. does exactly what it says on the tin. ideal size for a small family. 4 berth with 2 pullman bunks
