Fabulous 1st sea cruise

After trying 2 river cruises and loving them, we opted for our 1st sea cruise even though I do not travel well (sea sickness on a flat!), Managed well despite 5 metre waves at one point meaning we had to go to a different port than Croatia which was even nicer to be honest!!

Whole experience was fantastic...no problems and all that people have said about the Spirit in a positive way is right! Lovely staff, food, professional excellent shows and a fantastic atmosphere all the time. We stayed for a further 5 days in Palma (lovely hotel) but on a total downer as it was not the cruise ship!! Hubby prefers casual and this was no problem at all... Dead friendly people on ship - passengers and staff.

We loved our sea cruise and have pushed the boat out (sorry for pun) and have booked the Baltic Discovery for 28 July 2018. We so loved it.

As a person with motion sickness, I had 3 nights where I took spanish sickness tablets (yellow packet) which worked brilliantly. We were told it was unusual to have such high waves etc but its at a time when all weather is a bit weird!!

Had a problem with one excursion (Italy on Good Friday) but got full refund and still have a good if not very tiring day (as so busy and active).

Food second to none, cabins lovely, entertainment great and weather was lush!

Those thinking of going on the spirit - do it / take the plunge you will love it!
