Iberian Delights, lived up to the usual smooth operation one would expect from Marella, embarkation was smooth and efficient, less than 10 mins from dockside to our cabin which was well equipped the bathroom had fluffy towels, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel, the cabin was very clean and roomy, plenty of space for clothes and suitcases, tea, coffee making facilities, replenished daily by our cabin boy Aldrin who was always helpful and friendly. Dining, we ate in the dining room every evening, the menu was varied well presented and on the whole offered enough of a choice that even those who like to complain should have been catered for. Breakfast and lunch were also exceptional afternoon tea was a lovely treat, the words spoilt for choice spring to mind. Overnight sailings meant that there was plenty of time to experience all the on board entertainment on offer. As to shore excursions a really great itinerary from start to finish, and the bonus is only one sea day, the only hiccup was the tender operation for Portimao which due to sea conditions and the fact that everyone seemed to have the same idea as to their timetable for going ashore caused a few people to get a little agitated.(I still think a simple register with time slots bookable the day before would be a simple solution to this problem). We will certainly be sailing with Marella cruises again in the very near future.
