Sail Date: Apr 2018
Cabin: Outside Cabin

It fitted in with our busy schedule as we needed a much earned break and we received a good deal with all inclusive drinks.

The ship was supposed to have had a refit but we couldn't see much that was new, carpets were still being fitted, there were rolls of it everywhere, there was a smell of paint on several occasions but there were still areas that needed doing up, made it look untidy.

Food and service was excellent.

Port Reviews

Hamburg

Weather didn't help as it was cold and wet BUT there was not a lot to see and what there was was well spread out. Hop on hop off very expensive and ship shuttle expensive.

Kiel

Docked near the town, easy to walk to, very picturesque.

Travemunde (Lubeck)

Took the shuttle to Lubeck and had a wonderful time. Very picturesque and interesting.

Rostock (Warnemunde)

Stayed in Warnemunde and walked alon the river. Very picturesque, lovely to mix with locals and visitors.

Bremerhaven

Took the local tram into Bremen, very easy to find your way around and all tourist sites within walking distance of each other. Locals very friendly, beautiful town.
