I've only been on a handful of cruises, but I never realized your luggage can go overboard when they are loading the ship. We went with a group of 9 people and 2 of my family members had to leave the ship which ruined our family vacation. The ship was what we were expecting and the food was average. Dinner Service and Coco Cay were amazing, but it's difficult to go on and enjoy your trip when you know your other family members were dealing with a huge mess and they can't even recover all of their luggage. I got home today and learned that they still have not recovered one bag and have not offered anything to help remedy this horrible experience. I will ALWAYS carry my own bags on in the future. I hope that someone at RCCL at least attempts to correct this situation. We spent a lot of time and effort to arrange this trip and 2 suitcases going overboard with one being unrecoverable is unacceptable.
