We decided to go as a family for Christmas on the Christmas theme cruise with MSC. What a terrible mistake. I have never seen so many angry people aboard ship before this cruise. Whenever we have sailed with Royal Caribbean we and others have been so very happy. To start with the customer service was unspeakable - a friend who couldn't walk well was told to get her own coffee when she asked a staff member. The staff member told her that she could use the exercise anyway and to go and get it herself!!!!!

A staff member was mopping the deck and knocked over my sister's sodas and he told her that he would not replace them. This is after she paid $3.00 a can for them. She went to his boss and he wouldn't even listen or look at her when she was talking to him about this problem. He REFUSED to replace her drinks and said to her "well you were probably about done with them anyway".

The food was less than enjoyable. We had practically the same foods each meal - there were cold hamburgers and hot dogs and fries every lunch and dinner. The bagels in the morning were like hockeybucks!! There were very few bars open at one time. Limited times to eat. Read more
