We had a fantastic time aboard the Golden Princess in Jan 2018, the weather in NZ was so nice and the seas very kind, it was an older crowd on board which suited us, our room was very good, clean and comfortable, food was excellent, especially in the dining rooms, the hamburgers are as good as you will get anywhere and the cakes at the international cafe are delicious, as was the entertainment all around the ship, the nightly shows in the princess theatre were a highlight. I found the staff to be very helpful, especially our room steward, disembarking in melbourne took only 10 minutes with our luggage waiting for us the only downer were the tender boats at Gisborne, it took forever to get back on board, but overall a big thumbs up, we will be looking at doing another princess cruise in the not too distant future.
