This was our third cruise experience with the first two being on Royal Caribbean Grandeur and Splendour, which were great. Thought we would try Celebrity because wanted a 4 night cruise and the price was right. Overall experience was good but not great. Bad weather definitely colored our perception. It was very windy and rainy in Key West although we did get to walk around a bit. The weather was so bad that the ship was delayed in leaving. This caused us to arrive late in Cozumel (around 1:00 PM). Our stay in Cozumel was extended into the evening hours but there is really not much to do in Cozumel when it gets dark. Everything closes between 5:00- 6:00 so our visit felt very rushed.

The good: Had an inside cabin for the first time which was really quite nice except for not having a sensation of time (no morning sunlight). However, quite comfy with lots of storage space. Entertainment was quite good, the best comedian we have seen on a ship and good musicians in shows on in lounges Our daughter and her friend really enjoyed the spa and I had a nice foot massage. Ship was well maintained and very clean. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. Early walk off was great.

The OK: Food was not as good as we have had on previous cruises but was adequate. Service was a little slow at times. The buffet had a nice breakfast selection but not so great for lunch. Formal dinner was OK - desserts were great! In general the attentiveness from staff was not as strong as on our other cruises. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and distracted, not particularly helpful.
