We arrived in New Orleans a few days ahead, which was great for us. FYI Bourbon street is under construction. We stayed at the Drury Inn,which was a great choice. The staff were excellent & they have cocktail hour with appetizers every nite. They also have popcorn & sodas every eve also. You can actually make this your dinner, there is so much We had a scheduled embarkation time of 11-11:30. When we arrived at the port the porters were ready for us. They told us exactly where to go in the terminal & once we were checked in, all zones were boarding, so we walked right on the ship. We made our first visit to Guys Burgers. Excellent as usual, with really no waiting. We carry our bathing suits in our carry on, so we changed in the bathroom by the pool & took a dip. The cabins were ready as promised by 1:30. We always get a balcony & we were on the ninth deck. To our surprise the bathroom seemed a little larger & recently renovated. The cabin seemed a little larger due to the arrangement of extra furniture for a third person, which we didn't have. Our room steward introduced himself shortly after check in, but something new , he only cleaned our cabin 1x daily & we rarely saw him. We had asked for a table with several people by the window. We got a table for 2 in the middle of the dining room . Never saw the maitre de to try & switch it. Food was ok but disappointed but we never had lobster but had prime rib 2 nites. Our wait staff wasn't the best but ok. We always go to the dining room for breakfast also. The eggs benedict were great & sea day brunches were good also. The shows have definitely improved & the comedians were great also. The cruise director was not very engaging around the ship. We also enjoyed Chopsticks for lunch, with a variety of Asian food & the fellows were great. I liked to try a little of everything & they were very accommodating. The deli is also good for lunch. If all else fails we go for Pizza. The ports of call were nice. We had been to Cozumel before so we went to the Ocean Club Beach. Not so nice of a beach & they charge just to sit under an umbrella on the beach . We took a fun excursion in Progresso to Merida & Ixtumal . The only problem was the van was very tight quarters for anyone over 5 feet tall. Disembarkation was also very painless . As we walk off our luggage.

Cabin Review

Cabin not sure

We were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was updated . The bathroom appeared larger & was newly painted. The cabin seemed larger due to the arrangement of the furniture. There were only 2 of us but could accommodate 3. Balcony was fine
