\The ship set sail, people lined the decks to watch as it headed out to the high seas.
Everyone was excited to be on their way, to experience a few days aboard a liner, well known for its excellent crew, and its entertainment.
People gathered on deck 12 for their first drink, plus a chance to relax with a cigarette, and chat with others who were their fellow travellers.
The cabin was excellent, with 3 women sharing we had no difficulties managing aat all, It was kept clean and tidy, and the cabin crew were wonderful.
we arranged our own excursions, and Port Villa had the most to offer. The waterfall, the villages, the markets. If you go for a drive through the villages, take a few lollies for the children, For them this is indeed a treat. The poverty of the people is offset by their optimism, and good humour. Don't accept the first offer if you arrange your own excursion, and don't agree to the 1st price that they say, you can barter, but, please keep in mind, that they depend on the tourists in order to feed there families. I actually know of a young man who brought their driver, some pizzas to take home to the family, what a wonderful gesture, and certainly a treat. Coloured pencils for the children, and even exercise books if you have room in your bag.
