We booked this cruise for our 1 year anniversary - having only cruised with Carnival in the past we were excited to try Royal and their "better experience"

The food in the main dining room was VERY bland, they did not have many options to choose from and when you did, it usually came to the table warm at best. All of the steaks were very fatty (even on the formal night).

Our stateroom was much smaller than we have experienced in the past - I was hoping with the higher price tag came better accommodations. That unfortunately was not the case. Read more
