We chose this cruise because it sailed from Liverpool and what a send off we got, fantastic sail away party and it set the scene for the next 12 days. The ship was spotlessly clean, you could often see the crew cleaning around the ship. The rooms were of a good size and the food was of a really good quality. We found the entertainment to be excellent and very professional. All the crew were friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. We did not have the best weather whilst we were visiting Iceland, but his did not detract from a vey enjoyable holiday.

We enjoyed the excursions that we went on and most of the ports of call, possibly with the exemption of Isafjodur, which was a bit bleak. The Golden Circle tour was definitely value for money and must do for anyone visiting Iceland.

We have already booked to travel on the Magellan again next year.
