My wife and I and two other couples decided to take a short cruise to escape the winter. The start of the day went well. We boarded the ship with ease and enjoyed the sunny afternoon. As the 4 pm departure time passed we all started to wonder what time we would be leaving port. Thats when the Captain announced that we were delayed as the Coast Guard was conducting an inspection. a few hours later the Captain annonced that the Ship had failed the inspection due to faulty life vests, and we would be stuck in port for 24 hrs, 25 hours later new life vest were put in place and we were off.
Our Cabin was an ocean view but on deck 2 so all night you heard the waves hitting the side of the ship. Much louder then one would think. We were suppose to be in Cocoa Kay on Tuesday (beautiful day) but didn't leave until 5 that afternoon. so we headed straight for Nassau. We arrived on Wednesday at 12 noon. and enjoyed an afternoon in port. at 1130 pm we headed to Cocoa Kay but of coarse when we arrived Thursday the waves were so high we could not get off the ship. so we headed back to port. The Staff and food were amazing and that is the only thing that made this trip. Shame on Royal Caribbean for failing a safety inspection.

Very Dirty and locals swarmed you like any other tourist area.
