RV Yandabo Cruise Review by cruising cockroach
- Sail Date: January 2016
- Destination: Asia River
That's it! Small intimate is the way to put it. As a result, embarkation and disembarkation were very fast.
Our cabin sandwiched between the bar/dining room and bridge - was the big one though still small, open on both sides (or at least windowed) with the bathroom behind. It's put together like - someone just put it together. Solid. Nice enough.
Dining, very nice food. Communal table in the dining room though there is a private table for 2. Burmese/Chinese food served communal style. Quite delicious.
Not much in the way of entertainment, just watch the scenery and navigational challenges.
Excellent service by motivated crew, most of whom were recruited from villages by the river by the CD and a line manager.
Excursions were included. The ship pulled up somewhere and the CD would take you through a Burmese village.
Would go again.
