Just been on the Thomson Dream and as frequent cruisers we were rather disappointed.
The ship is going into dry dock for a re-fit and felt that we were a bit of a nuisance as the last guests. Our chalet lad was pretty useless. Normally they are amazing but we had to go to reception 4 times for one thing or another. One day we had no towels and had to use the pool towels but next day they were gone as well. Reception was very apologetic but nothing was done all day and we had to go back. Food was OK but not up to their usual standard. There was unusual smells on deck 7 and also in the dining room on the last day. Work had already started on empty cabins which we thought was a little unprofessional. The entertainment team were Ok but a bit below the usual standard but then we learnt that the normal team had already left and these were just stand ins.
Still we had a good time and have been on the Dream many times so hopefully this was a one off.
Nice cabin, useless cabin staff, not 1 towel sculpture
