We chose this cruise itinerary because of the ports of call and have been on about 10 cruises with Thomson so was really looking forward to it. The ports of call did not disappoint but I feel that Thomson did. We had noticed a change straight the way, no sooner we were checked in on board and before we took a few paces away from the table we were offered to buy a drinks package, if we had wanted one then we would have bought one when we booked our holiday. They used to have a different theme every night for food, but sadly no more. The food was very plain, not much flavour and it seemed to me cheap cuts of meat. The staff do as best as they can and always seem happy, but i feel they have cut back on them as well, as many a time people were waiting to be served. Cut backs all round I think. We were lucky as we got our holiday at a good price, but talking to other passengers if I had paid what they had I wouldn't have been happy. Maybe it's time to try other companies out.
