The River Seine Paris to Normandy cruise was wonderfully well organized.
The several times that we tied up along side other river cruise ships gave us a chance to see them also. Candidly, a couple of them did look a little more updated and luxurious than our ship.
Do sign up for the 12 course Bistro Dinner. Well done.
Skip the "Basic" wine and cheese lecture. It is not.
TIP: Lunches are buffet style, but, be sure to take time to read the menu also.
TIP: An optional tour to Honfluer is offered. Honfluer is way over crowded with tourists. I would not do this one again.
TIP: Try for a mid ship cabin. The lower numbered units, up near the main lobby etc should be very noisy.
It was unseasonably hot when we were there and the air conditioning, both in the main areas and our cabin was marginal, if that.
Quite adequate, but certainly small. Nothing fancy at all. Cabin service was great.
Well done, especially considering the short time constraints. It takes a couple hours, one way, just to get there from the ship.View All 83 D-Day Beaches Reviews
The walking tour of the old part of the city if well done. We loved our guide.
