This is only the 2nd time we have cruised as a family and absolutely loved every miniute of it! The Discovery is a lovely ship and we pre booked out deluxe balcony cabin at the back which was a really good choice as the balcony was bigger than the ones on the sides so they could accommodate 2 loungers!! Our maid 'Christina' was great, she would come in twice a day, once for an initial clean and then early evening to make up the boys beds

The food was excellent, but if you want to book for the indian 'Kora La' I suggest you do this as soon as you board as unfortunately it was fully booked for the week!

There was plenty to do onboard, a climbing wall, mini golf and the outdoor cinema was brill!! My sons are 12 and 14 and enjoyed it all, but had a moan as there is no wi fi, well there is but at a price of £3 per hour per phone or ipad!! My only complaint is about the pools on board, they are very small! There is an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, complete with Jacuzzis, but they are jam packed!

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe balcony cabin

Cabin was brilliant! It was at the back of the ship and the balcony had 2 chairs and a small table and also 2 sunloungers! It was lovely to watch as we pulled away from port each night, so would thoroughly recommend a balcony at the back!

Corsica (Ajaccio)

We walked around Corsica ourselves, it is lovely here and the people are very helpful in the shops etc
