The cruise was excellent, not many passengers and plenty of room to move around, if it were full though I expect it would have been harder to enjoy.
The staff could not be faulted, 10 out of 10.
The food though was just average, but a lot of effort was put into beach and deck dining, a bar was also made available on every remote landing where time permitted. For the price charged the standard of food was not up to the standard expected of Silverseas.
The ship however, though new to Silverseas is greatly in need of an upgrade, which we were told would happen in October, so if you go before then , be forewarned and temper your expectations.
The remote places visited were very interesting and the locals put on an outstanding welcome for us. The authorities in Indonesia however gave the ship a very hard time at three different locations, which left everyone feeling very unseasy, crew and passengers alike. You don't expect this in the modern world.
