Our third cruise with P/O, and well, after all the media hype, the glossy promo pics, overall quite disappointed, on the surface the Aria seemed fresh, stylish and a little funky, and that's where my best impressions stopped!!

From the unmotivated, clueless, sometimes outright rude and unwilling staff and crew, to the absolute appalling food offerings, to lack of any sort of uplifting entertainment, to the third class areas the full paying smoking passengers were forced to endure, and the overall lack of customer service, this cruise was a massive disappointment!

P?O, you need to pull this ships act together or it will become a vessel you will struggle to fill, very quickly, with social media these days and the massive amount of disappointed passengers I met on board, but also who are already and have previously posted bad reviews, and the speed of which these shocking reviews will spread, I don't envy the task ahead to start to improve this ship, I also see the eden has equally bad feedback, from the pathetic dessert offerings in the pantry, well if you call it offerings, 1 cake, same old tiny tarts every day, and other tiny bland selections, either you found the worst pastry chef around or you didn't find one at all, add to this no cream, ice-cream or any other sought of accompiant was available to go with the sad sweets, and the fresh fruit was either stale, sometimes bordering rotten, or plain old unripe, again the same old offerings every day, and also with no cream, ice-cream etc.!!! the other food offerings where either closed, booked out every day, or uncontactable when you did try to get the very rare reservations, managed to get breakfast and lunch a few times at the waterfront, again nothing special, terrible service, rushed and sometimes out right rude, again a disappointment.
