Sail Date: Dec 2015

We booked an overnight stay on this ship in the port of Tilbury. The experienced was rushed, being allowed on board at 4.30pm, Dinner at 6.30pm & out of cabins by 8.00am the following morning with disembarkation by 9.30am. We were possibly unlucky to be given cabin 4118, which although comfortable, had no tea making facilities. Because we just changed into evening wear on arrival we never noticed anything. However when we went to bed at around 12.30am, the noise in the cabin from a defective fan? was unbearable. I have slept through storms, people shouting etc., but this was not only loud, but vibrating through the cabin. The staff were very friendly, the entertainment reasonable and the food very good, although small portions. It was such a shame that we were given this room, because it spoilt the experience, leaving the ship tired & ready for a good nights sleep at home.
