My husband was taken ill with diarrhera before the ship's first docking so there was no CHANCE he had eaten something doggy offshore. When he reported to the medical staff he was grounded 24 hours and must stayed in the cabin. When the ship docked I too did not go offshore as I stayed to look after him.
