Sail Date: Oct 2015
Cabin: Junior Suite

We have mostly cruised with Celebrity and we accepted that our cruise on the Legend would be slightly below the standard we have become use to.

So at the outset I would say that we had a most enjoyable vacation. There were only minor issues and nothing that detracted from the enjoyment of our cruise.

The Legend is one of the oldest and smallest vessels in the fleet and is similar in size to the earlier Celebrity vessels. That suits us and we found many similarities in the ship layout. For it's age I would say that the Legend of the Seas is in pretty good shape. Yes you can find small areas of rust if you look for it but that is to be expected on a sea going vessel. We saw maintenance going on on a regular basis such as varnishing the handrails and in port painting of the hull.

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

On this ship the Junior Suite enjoys more floor space, a larger balcony and a bathroom with a tub and shower over. It was in good condition.

Port Reviews

Koh Samui

A lovely guide and we saw all the major sights. The elephant ride was amazing!

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

An excellent guide with very good english. We were provided with cold water and cold towels all day long!

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Another excellent city tour. The War Remnant museum was very humbling.
