my title would suggest that i had some issues with this cruise, which i did. however despite those issues we had a great time, met some lovely people and picked up some great tips for future cruises. would i sail with rci again? only because i have a $200 open trip deposit from a previous rci cruise and another $185 discount of a future trip as a sweetener because of issues i raised. although, like the survey email, i am still waiting for that to arrive.

we booked this cruise in june (at a very good price)and i joined the roll call which as usual was very helpful. I am not a fan of ship excursions as i object to being ripped of so we usually do our own thing or organise private trips going direct to the locals. some cruisers worry about missing the ship and stick with the ships trips and also probably find it all too hard. with todays internet it has become so easy. luckily we had a very active cruiser, Jenni, who organised two great trips.

embarkation was easy and quick, no complaints there. luggage arrived within a couple of hours and inside cabin was fine. the ship is in better condition than i expected based on reviews i had read. The buffet food was more than adequate which we used for breakfast and some lunches. the prize find was the small but great food offerings in the solarium pool area. We spent a lot of time in there swimming, reading, relaxing with a drink.
