We chose this cruise due to the very low priced last minute offer, for £295 each for an inside cabin,we felt it was a bargain. We hadn't cruised with Cruise and Maritime before and read the reviews with some trepidation.

We were placed in an inside cabin forward on Deck 4 (the lowest passenger deck). Yes there was some engine noise, but not worse than we have experienced on other ships. Our steward Svitlana, kept the cabin spotless and always enquired about our day. The shower was probably the best we have experienced on board any cruise ship.

The passenger areas were spotlessly clean, the only problem was finding seating in the buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch, but seats were always available in the formal restaurants. We always ate our evening meal in the Waldorf Restaurant. There was always a good choice of food in all the restaurants. Read more
