we had a pre-cruise in Lucerne at the Flora and everything was great, the room, staff, breakfasts. we were worried about the nightclub next door but as we were on the 3rd floor there wasn't a problem. we ate out each night beside the Lake. The cruise up to Amsterdam was thoroughly enjoyable and especially enjoyed relaxing on the ship cruising through the daytime. We stayed in Amsterdam at Radisson Blue, excellent location, again room and breakfasts were great.

The Sun was a very good ship and our stateroom was perfectly fine bearing in mind we only slept in it! people who complain about not being able to attach computers to the tv to watch movies etc etc need to get a life! We met some lovely people and have kept in touch. We enjoyed the food and the waiters/waitresses couldn't do enough. this was our second Viking cruise and we are now trying to decide where to go for our third. our Cruise Director Boyan was brilliant, enthusiastic and ever cheerful except when a couple got back to the coach over half an hour late delaying our departure from port.
