We choose thompsons cruise as we had cruised with the before and really enjoyed the experience. What a big mistake. The cruise was a disaster. We paid a supplement for an upgrade of cabin, you could proverbly not swing a cat in it. It was tiny to say the least. the shower had mould in it and rust round the door, shower curtain was disgusting. Feel sorry for cabin staff who have to clean cabin they are fighting a loosing battle. The towels were definitely passed their sell by date. The food was mediocre, but the waiters was very attentive. The drinks package was a joke, more drinks had a supplement attached to them. If you drink Guinness be prepared to be stung. The pool and jacuzzi we full of screaming kids. If you want a sun bed be prepared to get up at about 7am and put your towel on it, otherwise you won't get one. When you get off the ship be prepared for a long walk to your destination, if there is a shuttle bus you will most likely be asked to pay £5 each to go on it. Think Thompson has lost its way with the cruising experience. Or they want to encourage families with young children to cruise, if that is the case they should advertise this cruise ship as a suitable for families only.

Cabin Review

Cabin O

Tiny cabin. Only good thing we has a outside cabin. Outdated to say the least
