Traveled with children

We traveled with a large group(30 in all), which we organized from among our friends. We are a married couple in our 50's with 2 kids at 17 and 18. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area and having a cruise leave from San Francisco makes this our first choice in cruising. (By flying to a different location you lose the first day due to traveling, have to stay at a hotel, and lose the last day traveling home. We are always very tired when we finish the cruise) This is our 7th cruise, 6 with princess.

Embarkation: We have never had an easier time getting on board ship and the service staff on the pier were excellent. We arrived just before 11:00 and were eating before noon. We live in the area and were dropped off by friends. It was quite congested in front of pier 35 as the prior cruise people were still getting off and looking for taxis'. The porters took our bags right away and we just had to make our way through the crowd to get signed in.

Room: We were four to a room and had an obstructed view room. It was quite small and could have been laid out better. We were crowded but the only time we were in the room together was getting ready for dinner and sleeping.
