Food Generally, the Lido food was excellent. The waffles at breakfast were the best I've ever had (although I haven't been to Belgium). The French fries and bread pudding were fantastic. Occasionally, the Lido salads would be quite oversalted. And you must check the cups on Lido for coffee stains inside and lipstick stains on the outside. About 30% of the time, I'd find an unseeming lipstick stain on one side of the cup (I drank a lot of tea). Oddly enough, I found the Lido food to be consistently better than the dining hall food.
